One Small Life- Guest Post

12 Oct

This weekend has been hard, one of the hardest. I’ve traveled from London up home and had to make the heart-breaking decision to put my dog to sleep. I am devastated

This is how I want to remember her. On the beach running after her ball, looking back and waiting for me to catch up.

and carrying a boulder of grief with me that will rest in the pit of my stomach for sometime.

Amongst all this sadness though, I have been greatly uplifted by the kind and generous words of Kate at one small life. I am very humbled by her beautiful words and entirely agree with her that blogging is all about making connections, finding that we are not alone in facing life and that everybody else is trying to work it all out too.

One Small Life is one of the first blogs I’ve connected with and I feel very honoured to have a guest post on there. You can find it here…‘Timely Reminders’.

In the meantime, I’m summoning up words that can relay everything this weekend has contained, the ┬áheavy sadness entwined with memories full of joy and how those things will settle into the next week.
